Ashley Road Day Centre
The Ashley Road Day Centre is a large 9-roomed house on a residential street in the north of the Borough.
Everyone is welcome, but there is specific support for people who use mental health services or who feel lonely and isolated.
Opening Times:
Monday: 10:30am-4:00pm
Tuesday: 10:30am-4:30pm (Lesbian and Gay only)
Wednesday: 10:30am-4:00pm
Thursday: 12:00noon-6:00pm (women only)
Friday: 10:30am-4:00pm

Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Lunch at 1:30pm. Teas, coffees
and squash available all day.
Women's Services
Islington MIND recognises that women are currently under-represented in most mixed mental health services. Thursday is a day just for women with mental health problems. Services include:
- Counselling
- Benefits advice
- Shiatsu
- Interesting talks
- Board games
- Crafts group
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Services
Islington MIND, in association with Outcome, provides a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Mental Health Support Group on Tuesdays. The service welcomes users or ex-users of the mental health system or those who are lonely, isolated or have suffered mental distress at some point in their lives. Services include:
- Counselling
- Reflexology
- Shiatsu
- Wonderful lunches
- Trips to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender venues
