We had an amazing day at Outcomeβs Islington Mind LGBTQ service on October 31st 2018. The day attracted over 100 guests and included tasters of Outcomeβs therapeutic activities such as creative writing and Indian head massage. CLASH (Central London Action on Sexual Health) came to promote their service and the launch of a sexual health clinic at Outcome. Islingtonβs Pride also promoted their new project which will be starting at Outcome, working with our service users to collect and celebrate Islingtonβs LGBTQ heritage. Guests came from many organisations, including Survivors UK, Galop, Camden Mind, National Mind, Wandsworth LGBTQ Forum, Hackney and City Mind, and Camden LGBTQ forum. Following an amazing home-cooked lunch, a drama performance took place in the afternoon, as well as an open-mic session - both of which provoked laughter as well as tears. Feedback from service users and guests was very positive, with many organisations suggesting closer work with Outcome in order to further benefit service users.
