Refugee Week & Pride Month Open Day Celebration

We were delighted to welcome Sheila Chapman, Executive Member for Equalities, Communities & Inclusion at the London Borough of Islington, to Islington Mind’s LGBTQI+ service, Outcome, for our Refugee Week & Pride Month Open Day Celebration.

The event was held as part of our Freedom From Fear to Love project, which supports LGBTQI+ people who are seeking asylum or have refugee status.

Sheila’s visit was a meaningful highlight of the day, reaffirming the importance of inclusive, compassionate services for those facing multiple disadvantages and marginalisation.

We sincerely thank Sheila for her support and confidence in this unique and innovative project.
