LGBTQI+ History Month at Outcome – 28 February

Come along and celebrate LGBTQI+ History Month with Outcome, Islington Mind’s LGBTQI+ project on Tuesday 28 February 12:00pm-4:00pm!

LGBTQI+ History Month is a month-long recognition of LGBTQI+ people and a celebration of LGBTQI+ stories and cultures. This year it is themed #BehindTheLens and celebrates LGBT+ people’s contribution to cinema and film from behind the lens. We will be holding space to pause and consider our mental health, where we have been, where we are going and how we aim to continue to centre and promote mental well-being of all LGBTQQIA+ people, affirming you where you are and supporting you to when you wish to move.

On the day we will be offering taster sessions for our activities, such as art, creative spaces, yoga, gender-specific groups, film room, as well as plenty of opportunities to find out more about Outcome’s work. In the afternoon we will be hosting an open space, including a sing-a-long, a quiz, and performances from our wonderful Outcome clients. Please note that this open space will be hybrid, meaning you can join remotely. See our Eventbrite page below for more details.

We will provide a delicious, home-cooked, nutritious lunch for £2.50 – so please bring cash! Most importantly, we are hosting a Commemorative Space in the afternoon where we will mark and celebrate those who we have lost this past year.

To find out more and RSVP please visit our Eventbrite page here.
